Rapid and cost-effective cancer diagnostic and treatment identification
The Problem
In 2020, nearly 10 millions people dying from cancer
By 2040 cancer deaths are estimated to reach 16.4 million – representing a 71% increase
Cancer is a leading cause of death worldwide – 1 in 6 deaths is caused by cancer
Current Workflow
Invasive
Complex and surgical process of tissue biopsy
Imaging to diagnosis
Highly technical and lengthy steps to know if the patient has cancer or not
Molecular analysis
Various, time-consuming steps to analyze the patient sample
Our Solution
Fast
Using optical spectroscopy, we can shorten the diagnosis and screening process to less than a day
Non-invasive
OM-LoT’s mission is to replace the highly invasive tissue biopsy by a simple blood draw
Affordable
Our miniaturized technology has low equipment cost and provides diagnosis significantly cheaper than comparable tech
Bringing light into darkness
Liquid Biopsy
Instead of a tissue biopsy, a blood sample is taken from the patient, circulating tumor cells are then isolated and ready for analysis
Optical Spectroscopy
Thanks to our innovative technology, circulating tumor cells are then analyzed in 2 hours and the results are sent directly to our algorithm
Artificial Intelligence
Using artificial intelligence, we identify the most effective therapy based on the tumor type and deliver a personalized report to the patient
About the company
OM-LoT’s great value lies within empowering people to perform more frequent health check-ups, by a non-invasive, cost-effective, and quicker cancer diagnosis through liquid biopsy. This allows us to detect cancer earlier and act against it sooner in a more efficient manner. Together, we can increase the survival probability of cancer patients and save the lives of our loved ones.
